I'm a Wesleyan, and I don't care. That doesn't make you a better Christian (your disbelief in the bible makes you a worse one), it just makes you a richer one.

But hey, I like Christian you better than Christian-bashing muslim-obsessed you.

Now now, let's not get judgmental. This is a debate thread not a "I'm a better Christian than j00" thread.

Perfect opportunity to use this thread!

Tell me Fred, what separates your system from large scale bank robbery? You see a rich man, you want his money (whether it's for you or somebody else) but he won't give it to you! Oh no! Obviously now you have to take his money by force! "It's not fair that he has so much!" Is how you justify it. But tell me again, Fred, is it fair to force people to live under fear that their government can take their possessions and wages and whisk them off to somebody else? A wise man (actually, Thomas Jefferson) once said "When a people fears their government, there is tyranny. When a government fears their people, their is liberty."
Unless of course you're just trolling. No offense, but most of what you say lately has been striking me as outright trolling.

EDIT: In other news, apparently Trump isn't running for president! Woohoo!

There's a difference. A robbery is committed out of bad morals, this is out of good ones.

If it's in good morals, Fred, how do you think the man being robbed (I'm going to call it for what it is) feels?

He SHOULD feel ashamed for not having the common sense to realize that he's being selfish. If he wants money, he can wait to get his share.

Yeah... a guy who works his arse off to gain his share is just being selfish in keeping what he worked to accomplish... I know, why doesn't he give everything to charity and go live as a homeless guy? *-*

Are you kidding, Fred? That's his money that he earned through his own work! YOU should feel ashamed for not having the common sense to realize that you're the one being selfish! Why do you think everybody else deserves a piece of what he worked hard for! No, the truly selfish ones are the people demand a slice of what other people have when they have no real claim to it other than "I want it" or "I need it." No, you do not! And how long do you expect these people to "wait to get their share?" Until all of the taxes are stretched so thin through the bureaucracy that there's nothing left?
Let's look at this from a different angle. You said you have very good grades, right? 100% as the highest and 87% as the lowest is definitely nothing to sneeze at, it's true! Now, you must have worked hard for those grades, right? Did your homework, studied, did well on your tests, took notes, paid attention to the teacher. You're proud of your grades because you worked for them and you obviously deserve them! You have every right to be proud of that.
Then one day, the principal calls you down to his office along with another classmate who hasn't been doing so well in school. He's a smart kid, but he just doesn't want to make the kind of effort in school that you have been. The principal sits you down and says to you, "Fred (yes, I know your real name is Colin ), this boy here has gotten failing grades in all of his classes this year, while you have passed with flying colors! Because of this, I'm going to take a big cut out of all of your grades and give them to him."
How would you react to that? It's not fair at all, is it? You worked hard for your grades and this kid has done nothing all year, and now he and the principal think that he deserves some of your grades? It's the exact same thing as with money! Just like students work hard for their grades, the wealthy man (which is a very broad term by the way. Who exactly gets defined as wealthy and gets their cash taken away? Where's the dividing line between poor and supposedly rich?) works hard for his money, only to get it taken away by a distant government who thinks somebody deserves it more. It's the complete opposite of fair, and it means that the other guy gets to do nothing and get by anyway while you continue to work and subsequently get robbed by your own government!

For me, dividing everything equally is stupidity... It crumbles the best incentive there is for a person's growth, challange.

Before you say anything, Im not even CLOSE to rich... In fact, what US people think is poor, in my opinion is middle class '-'

In my oppinion what is necessary is that more investment is made to equal the opportunities for everyone. For me, everyone should have the same chance of gaining fortion, and them getting it or not should depend on their own strength of will and inteligence. I know that in real life it's not like that, but I also no that socialism never worked and definitly never should work...
