Beautiful!
Beautiful!
Nice! And we all are still here
But why Anatolian terrain is so flat? Also, so many PSFs there but terribly lack of provinces... For example, where is the great Constantinople? Also, there is not even single river there. No trade resources. And the seashore is badly edgy. I'm also disapointed with the map scale - you can include most of Anatolia within a single frame. So, as I'm demanding mapmaker myself - it makes terrible impression on me... I hope that this is a screenshot from a very, very early beta. Right?
I've been meaning to address the low terrain of Anatolia myself in my next unofficial announcement. I also decided to finish each region before moving on to the next, so I put all the PSFs for each region before moving on to work on the next one. More things will also be announced as soon as I finish writing the post.
Yes, the lack of rivers, resources and all that is a bit of a bummer. But I am the only mapper in the team, so it's a one man job I have barely started with recently.
Horizontally, the map is the maximum size for Medieval 2, 1001x627 or 500x313, which means that the map encompasses a huge area. There's also the fact the picture was taken with the map zoomed out as much as possible, I'll take that into consideration the next time I post a screenshot however. The fact that Anatolia can fit in a single frame is a testament to how much the map encompasses, not anything else.
It's a real shame that you had such a terrible impression. It is a very early alpha even. It's not even close to being in beta tested yet, though hope is certainly high it will pretty soon.

How are my favourite modders, all well I trust?
Hah. Stop it you.
I currently have a lot on my hands, which is why I haven't been able to even reply with my current state of business. You caught me at a good moment and so I can at least tell everyone that I'm alive and well.
I'll be back soon though.

I hope that mod will be release soon on end the this year
My English is very bad. I must use Google Translate. I hope that you sympathetic for me I think that this mod should released on early January year 2014 If not use Google Translate me can use Vietnameselanguage be not. I am a people Republic Of Vietnam or in other words is VietnamNational
Is this still alive? Or is it Dead !!!!!
Rumours of my demise were not exaggerated too much.
I'd like to apologise for the lack of progress. It's been a crazy year for me, and this one probably won't be any different. That has caused me to have become quite careless with the mod's progress, although I wish I hadn't.
So yeah, apologies for that. I wasn't even able to show off the new regions of Anatolia I was planning to preview a few months back, even though it's mostly done, to an extent.
Maybe we'll be able to have a bit of something for February 19th, which is AtB's Birthday, but I don't really know. In any case, finishing this mod is something of a life goal to me, so I wouldn't really let it rot unless I had a good enough reason. Even if I have to finish it in the next century.
Regards.

Take your time. This is a hobby and everyone should understand that.
Best of luck with whatever life is throwing at you. We your loyal fans will be waiting when you finish the mod, this or next century. I for one need a mod like this to quench my ensatiable appetite for the Hellenistic world, especially as Rome II fell on its face

Have you tried the Divide et Impera mod (DEI mod) for Rome 2? If not you should here
What happened to the Rome TW version of this?
