As its Victoria Total War surely it'll be 1837-1901? but i keep seeing a starting date of 1867 :s
or maybe you'll do 1815-1901 taking off after NTW? Will you be able to have a complete world map btw?

1865 to 1914, the period from directly after the American Civil War to right before WWI. This is because we don't want to overlap with the ACW mod.
As for the world map... as much as we can.

Isnt it lovely Okmine, when they just dont read the dozen sticky threads full of info about the mod? Yeah but i guess it shows they patiently waiting.

Yeah i feel you about the unit stuff.... its been more than two weeks that i ve been begging god to enlighten me but no avail...... i cant even imagine understanding how a model can be edited, nevermind creating one.
But why did you got bogged down?
Unit making's just slower than we expected. We hired a new modeller/texturer and things seem to be picking back up though.

Ah great.... let me bother you some more then by troubling you for a preview soon enough.
When there is something to preview, and we feel like it
British units are now being done.
You are gentleman sir Tango
We'll wait a while longer so we have some new units to put in a preview, however, I will say now that the highlander unit is one of the best units I've ever seen. Solo1906 (our new modeller) certainly knows his stuff.
Riiiight. Alright.... we are patiently waiting.
Ooh sorry to be a bother boys and I may have just ignored the many sticky threads about the release date... adn I'm sure others have asked this... but what time frame would you put on the release? next 2 months maybe? 4 months or 6 months + ?
Field Marshal Horatio Herbert Kitchener, 1st Earl Kitchener KG, KP, GCB, OM, GCSI, GCMG, GCIE, ADC, PC (24 June 1850 – 5 June 1916), was an Irish-born British Field Marshal and proconsul who won fame for his imperial campaigns and later played a central role in the early part of the First World War, although he died halfway through it.
It'll be released when it's ready

But what about pre-american civil war? you dont have to include the american civil war maybe just as an emerging faction if you wish, after all this is about world history not just american history and if its victorian total war surely the emphasis should be on the reign of victoria? which start in 1837 not 1867
This is still world history. The North German Confederation and Austro-Hungarian Empires formed, there was a major rebellion in India recently, and Canada was established. Meanwhile the only thing us in America had done was destroyed half our country And we actually considered adding the Confederacy as an emergent faction, but decided not to so we could use the faction slot for something else.
Although I'd agree that this is a bit late in the rule of Victoria. More appropriately the time period is the Belle Époque or Gilded Age.

I'm talking about the couple dozen imperial wars China had, but most might not really count as civil wars. But yeah, as a general rule civil war sucks.

Yeah but it makes bloody good and entertaining history, especially when you study it as an outsider.
