Happy Birthday George....
Happy birthday to the late, great George Harrison!!!!
George Harrison, the "Quiet Beatle, would of been 63 today. Commonly overlooked in the beatles, and shadowed by the creative genious of Lennon-McCartney. Harrison was the driving force behind some of The Beatles more psychadelic and Indian-inspired music. Also, without his Legendary Guitar skills, the beatles would of never had that special, tune.
Credited for writing some of the deepest songs ever, he also wrote some of the Beatles greatest hits. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and "Here Comes the Sun" are two of his masterpieces. His song, "Something" was called the greatest love song of the 20th century.
Other than his Beatles work, he is credited with helping spread indian music and culture with Ravi Shankar in the late 60's and 70's. Harrison has/Had released the most successful triple album to this date, "All Things Must Pass". He died on November 28th, 2001.
