thats enough i think for this mod.... thats alot anyway.... i think anything higher then 175 settlements just ruins the game play and 125 is a good number

It is just something that i want to say whilst you are modding this game, try this:
If you now how to make cliffs (ill hope that) then you can use that and the map heights and try to create cliffs around a settlement, then check the
battlemap for looks, and here comes suggestion number 2 if the other one fails:
Once when i played a mod ive now forgotten i was attacking Athens and i noticed, something big, a bug maybe but... there was an HUGE slope going upwards toward the spartan/greek peninsula from Athens... it just looked a little special, and it was very, very steep.
Maybe you can try to pull of an reversed version of that, it would give an nice visual flare to cities like Antioch (i hope that i am right) that was set above a large cliff/mountain/rocky Hill. then you could add desert ground just on that spot, mixed with rocky ground, that would make it look a little bit more "middleeastern Urban" looking
EDIT: Did anyone take notice on the Gallic introduction movie? when he says this is our land and then something about romans.. then you can see a cliff by the sea, ive never seen that kinda cliff after that for some strange reason
please give me rep points if you thought that this post was of any help
Sorry i didn't see it
Anyway we'll test your suggestion and then we'll decide what's the better effect...
