battle ui for cpu controlled reinforcing units is totally broken.. empty windows spawns at top of the screen.. taking good portion of it too.. never saw anything like that.. kinda annoying >_<
Man, those are some long living brothers! Sultan Kilij Arslan was the ruler of the Turks of Rum at the beginning of the First Crusade in 1098 - fought at Doryleum, etc and was forced to flee, unable to stop the full brunt of the entire Crusade at the time. I take it you mean a different Kilij Arslan or some kind?
GREAT stuff though. I love that you guys are taking things in this direction with more events and opportunity for the player to have a wild time, based in history.
Kilij Arslan II
Yes, as Tureuki says, that's about Kilij Arslan II.
Good you like it. It's a pity we haven't manage to prepare those explanatory windows on time. Ultimately, each faction should get one. I think 2.4 will contain some such narrative introductions.
How to extract music.dat file? i want to change some of the music, and how to make it back to .dat file? help me please
"And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay (water and earth). Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the best of creators. After that, surely, you will die. Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. And indeed We have created above you seven heavens (one over the other), and We are never unaware of the creation." (QS. Al-Mu'minun (23):12-17)

That's a question for the mod workshop.
This is the first version of BC I've played. Love it!!!
Two tiny things I noticed:
- Kandahar has 'dogs' resource but trades as 'honey'. I found this amusing somehow
- When setting up a campaign and choosing a faction, on the map Herat, Tus and Birjand are shown as one region.
Again, love this mod!
Why does all factions start with nearly 0 armies?
Thanks for sharing your observations.
Ah, yes, there is a mistake there. I haven't noticed it before. Thanks.
I don't quite understand your question. Firstly, each faction has at least one army. There is no way there are "near 0" number of armies available for all factions. Secondly, what is the reason you ask such question? Do you have any game-play problems?
First of all: Great mod! I have started a new campaign with the Khwarezm Shah.
My question: Are campaign_script ctd's fixed in this version?
it is better version of mod, than 2.02, but why it not changed the cities models on the strat-map ?
Then why did you say that all factions start with near none armies?
8 units - that's half of stack. If this is near zero, it can be near 1 as well.
But serious answer is - giving whole stacks, one or two or more, at the start, would burden player's finances and force him to expand quickly. Some factions start this way, but not all. That's player's task to build up his army. And Makuria, as far as I know - though, to be honest, I know little about Makuria - she didn't have big offensive capabilities then, thus her army is small.
i see
The army you start with if you play the Seljuks of Iraq is quite potent
ca anybody upload campaign script please :|
I got it no need anymore
