is there any news about BC 3?
is there any news about BC 3?
Yes, it's a bug. Since preparation of official fix will take some time yet, you can do what Harith advices - try out RBBR.
It's a matter of personal preference; just check out some submds, maybe you'll find something that suits you better than "vanilla" 2.3.
No news yet. Oh, and my friend, don't double your posts.
is it useful about Al-e-Bvand?
Hey,
i started playing BC 2.3 and i noticed that i dont hear any building sound, new message sound (at the beginng of every turn) or other sounds. I hear the background music and the voice of the characters but I cant hear the other sounds. Every sound settings are on.
In battle I cant hear my soldiers too when i click on them! What can I do?
Thanks!

I've checked the alleged sound problem and... there is none, at least not in my installation. I hear ambient sounds perfectly well, but indeed, zoom in is required to hear them.
I can hear everything when i zoom in
This is probably a stupid question, but is it normal that all of my generals are immortal? I'm playing as the Byzantines currently and Emperor Manuel just celebrated his 109th birthday and is showing no signs of dying, same with all of my other generals. Come to think of it, I don't think I've lost anybody to old age yet, not even agents.
Ah jeez, now I feel silly. I told you it would probably be a stupid question.
Well, thanks anyway.
Wudang, I also think that Seljuqs of Hamadan should be included, however, how would they survive against Ildenizids? In real life they continued to exist simple because Ildeniz didn't touch Seljuq Sultan at Hamadan, but as you may know, it changed with Qizil Arslan. So from the game's perspective which is about expansion, how would it work? Unless they would be automatically allies.
I think Seljuqs of Hamadan, Salghurids and Seljuqs of Kerman should all be there, but it's you guys who decide of course.

I've moved your post from the onld "Questions and Suggestions" thread here, as there is no need to post there. This thread is the one up to date.
To answer your suggestion - Seljuks of Iraq (Hamadan) are already in 2.3, so there is no issue here. As for Seljuks of Kirman, they didn't make it, sorry, but wait until we announce a new list of factions.
Open the bc_kingdoms.cfg and change the entry:
event_cutscenes = 1
to
event_cutscenes = 0
If it doesnīt work try the same in the medieval2.preference.cfg (I had sometimes problems with that entry while video capturing). In every case create backups of the files you modify!
Hey Guys,I have a question.
Do you think it is possible to use the child system that SS uses to apply ?
It makes male family members useable when they are 5,but you can only send them
to different cities.The point is,they gain special Traits in their childhood,and you can plan
who you send them to,because it impacts their life who is their teacher.
Itīs a seperate mod the SS team applied,and it should be useable for the BC team.
Let your thoughts flow and tell what your opinion is.
Could you post a link to this submod?
Technically, what's possible in SS that's also possible in BC. If you mean if we are interested in such features, then I say: we are and we have even been trying to introduce very similar feature to 2.3 (5 years old children), but it required more work and eventually wasn't included. I've never heard before about such a feature in SS, so I guess that was just our independent idea.
Whether or not we will implement it in the future - possibly yes.
And the link you've posted - we know it, but thanks.
Hi everyone,Is It possible to make 4 turns per year For BC 2,3?
thank you
Technically yes, but the team will not change the 2 turn system in the near future (afaik ).
