QUESTION. I am new to the forum. So I successfully downloaded the BC 2.3 file from this website. Did exactly what the instructions said on the installation, installed the game but when I try to launch it an error pops out that says "cannot find windows exe." PLEASE HELP.
I didn't find a single question in your post.
You mean kingdoms.exe?

Not been able to apply the patch... but the games is installed properly and it works: "unexpected end or archive" anyone knows why?
Has broken crescent 2.3 been uploaded to anywhere else besides deposit files?

brillant work!
How do I launch the game?
Is this "Depositfiles Downloader" neccessary to download this interesting mod?. I do not like to install something like this for a simple download...
There's no such requirement. Download the mod in the ordinary way, that is through your browser.
Where can I find a list of the settlements names ?
Depositfiles has changed its download procedure, I had to use its Downloader in order to download the files.
If you have steam like me......
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\crusades\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign
My BC mod file is under crusades, yours could be something else, for some reason the launcher does not work for me and I need to p[lay mods through the Kingdoms expansions.
There will be a notepad file called "descr_region_and_settlement_names". That one is a straight list.
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\crusades\data\world\maps\campaign\base
Here will be descr_regions. This one is a more detailed region and settlement list.
If you don't have steam, I assume it is the same but in the games directory and not through Steam....obviously.
