The problem is that I can not play the custom battle since there are no units and only 2 factions on there without any unit contained. Can some one tell me what the problem is ?

Just choose "All" in "Period" selection menu, and you'll gain access to all factions.

The patch is almost ready, there is one more thing we need to fix, and it's a hard nut to crack.

What are you talking about? I'm downloading BC via torrent right now, there are 26 seeds and 4 peers, so it works just fine.

Use the torrent, as for now there is no other way to get the mod.

I'm really uncomfortable with downloading 3rd party software onto my computer to just to get one patch. It's probably crawling with spyware and other junk.

I have Norton 360 V 4.0 fully updated and it said the following

BitTorrent is clean. I've had it installed for awhile and have only used it twice. No problems.

Eventually yes, but I have no idea when.

We don't own a premium account on any file hosting site and we wouldn't want to waste few days uploading the files in snail's pace. Also, given all the noise around implementing SOPA, PIPA and ACTA we would like to avoid possible situations of shutting down the site where we'd have just uploaded the mod. Today I've discovered that filesonic disabled its sharing options, and such steps can be taken by other file hosting sites. And we don't have our own server to put the files on.

So, use the torrent, it doesn't bite and no, it doesn't contain spyware or viruses itself. utorrent is a decent torrent client, you can even use its portable version and it's very small.

It must just be my internet then, it just stays on 0 seeds and 0 peers though it says something like 24 seeds in a swarm they don't seem to actually help me.
