It's just a difference of around 100kms between the main resorts, so it's the same climate.

Very warm with constant marine breeze.

Nice topic, anyway, and it's good that others promote our lands. The documentation is right and the pictures make me want to visit and revisit those places.

Absolutely stunning; I had no idea Romania was such a majestic country; the only thing that I don't think I would like is the snow. On average, how would you describe Romanian spring and summer?

    Thank you for the comments.

Spring, it very much depends on what part of the country you are. In the north it's chilly, partly because of the Russian winds coming from the north, and in summer it can be cool, approximately 25 degrees Celsius maximum.

In the south however, particularly if you come to Bucharest, springs are warm and summers are very hot because Bucharest is in the middle of a large flatland (Campia Baragan). It can go up to 35 degrees Celsius, so that's quite hot. The seaside has the same values, except that it has a constant marine breeze due to the Black Sea.

Don't worry, I personally think all the sites are more awesome to be seen in spring anyway.

Poor countries tend to have a small very wealthy elite.

I was refering to those farmers in those medieval villages of yours.

Those American films really brainwash people.
Isn't the average wage in Romania like 700 Leu or €170 a month?
I make that kind of money and I work 1.5 day a week doing a some underpaid student job.
    Miss me yet?

Medieval villages, you got that right, many villages in Transylvania preserve their medieval character and traditional medieval buildings which makes them very interesting to visit.

The average wage in Romania, in May 2009, was 1855 Lei, or around 450 Euros/630 US Dollars. It's pointless comparing the Purchasing Power Parity and GDP per capita of a wealthy Western European country to a former Communist bloc Eastern European country.

That being said, it shouldn't prevent you from visiting and enjoying the spectacular sights.

One would assume going to someplace for vacation where everything is cheap is a great positive.

One word of advice - don't expect it to be as cheap as everyone makes it to be. Bucharest is fairly expensive, especially compared to the rest of the country, and to make a comparison, petrol prices are higher in Romania than Spain, Luxembourg and Poland.

But nevertheless, Romania is cheaper than the rest of Europe.

Wow, you live in such a beautiful country! I hope I manage to visit Romania one day

And I think most people actually misunderstood what Borat was all about. It was a movie trying to bring out people's beliefs. If you think what you were laughing at you can even feel sorry for yourself. It was certainly not a racist movie.
