Re: B.E.I.C. Download Version 1.0 & Technical Help
As of today, I am unable to find the file on either of the download sites. Any suggestions? thanks! I have tried multiple times.

Thanks for your response. Neither worked for me, after multiple attempts, but I will give it another try today. Maybe it was a temporary glitch.

Re: B.E.I.C. Download Version 1.0 & Technical Help
As a minor update -- and thanks again -- I got the game to work, including battles, etc. Now I just have to figure out how to make the campaign run. I am verifying the cache files, and have removed the loc files, and hopefully that will lead to success. Either that, or I give up and go mow the lawn...

Re: B.E.I.C. Download Version 1.0 & Technical Help
One final p.s., in case anyone is reading this today and might help me. I have:
1) installed and reinstalled BEIC
2) completely uninstalled DMUC just in case
3) verified the cache files on Steam
4) deleted those two files in Campaign folder
5) deleted the 3 unit pack compatability files
What I can do is:
1) load and play battles using the right units
2) begin BEIC, hear music, etc.
3) check India and see that everything looks more or less right (with one exception, below)
4) move to next turn, and see what seems to be the beginning of the Mutiny
What I cannot do is:
1) Control any units (I see BEIC cities as "allied" and in FOW to me)
2) Well, pretty much anything
Plus I see pike units in London, and in the first turn, the Huron, along with the various mutineer factions, declare war on me.
I am assuming this is a scripting issue, but am puzzled as to what to do next. Thanks in advance for anyone who has the solution, which I am guessing is probably pretty simple and just involves moving, adding, or deleting one or more files.

Re: B.E.I.C. Download Version 1.0 & Technical Help
Thanks. I figured out my problem, which was silly - I just had to select BEIC, instead of Great Britain, as my nation. So I am playing now, and enjoying the mod immensely, though I have had about five battles, and two of them resulted in CTDs. Thanks again.

Re: B.E.I.C. Download Version 1.0 & Technical Help
Hello, i have been trying to play this mod for a few days now. But when i go to select a faction i can only select the default etw factions, the only thing different is that the two Indian factions names have changed.
Never mind i got it working.

HI,
I have no other mods in the data folder or on the user.script. The data folder is completely vanilla, as per screen shot in a previous advice posting.

Re: B.E.I.C. Download Version 1.0 & Technical Help
Normaly, this should be moved to the user/appdata/roaming/.../the creative assembly/empire/scripts/ folder on your c:/ drive. This folder is hidden so unhide it first before you take a look for it.

Re: B.E.I.C. Download Version 1.0 & Technical Help
Unfortunately that didnt work. I get to select the indian mutiny campaign, however all the fractions are vanilla fractions. So i guess just part of the mod is loading.
