I'm going to be really disappointed if they make a Rome 2, I'm just not a fan of the time period. My favorite period in history has already been made (Feudal Japan) so for the next one I'm not sure. I like to see either WWI, American Civil War, Medieval 3, or Chinese Dynasties.

The majority of TW gamers (450 people) want Rome 2.

Now, don't get me wrong. I'd love Rome TW 2. But let's not kid ourselves thinking this poll will influence CA in the slightest.

This, ETW sold 820K in the first 28 days, so 450 people is not really anything important. Hell this forum only has ~8000 active members at any time, look how few bothered their arse voting.

I am not too pushed what TW is next, I would like a larger scale to Shogun, I like the game especially FotS but I want something with a bigger map more Empire size (with more provinces). The have invested a lot in FotS for industrial warfare, a lot of work just for an expansion I think we will see another game building opn what has been done in FotS in the industrial era.

The current engine is probably 85% complete for a ACW or WW1 scenario yet only about 50% for Rome 2.

Rome 2 can wait for WW1.

NO. Please keep out the hardcore graphics. NTW is more than sufficient here if only the animations are given a complete overhaul. Give us massive armies enstead.

I COMPLETELY AGREE !!!

I mean what is up with this games today ?...They are all buffed up with graphics,it is all about graphics...The game has 20 GB and you have 10 levels to play and you are done.What is even better you can pass them in 4-5 hurs playing(not directly speaking about TW games).

The graphics are the last thing I break my mind for...I mean they need to be good but I realy don't care if I can see the Roman centurion's pimple on the nose...I realy don't care about that.

The gameplay is the most important part of the whole game !

TW games are getting better and better in every next release,but we have less and less factions to play as.I mean ETW has on my PC around 20 GB(17 I think),but I have less factions to play as then I MTW2 and I do not see the reason why is that ?...

Is it because they concetrate on graphics so much that the graphics themselves take part of the memory of the game ?

And why do I need to have a monster of a PC to run the game normaly.

The best game right now would be WW1. It would be absolutely great! And next could be Ancient greece or even Rome 2 (but why again Rome?) Something new like ETW was very successful. WW1 or 2 could have great success on sales because of the variety of countries.

I would say Rome 2 as Rome 2 is obviously the most popular choice having over half the votes but they just made a remake of shogun so they probably will want to do something new hopefully a Ancient Greece total war with the persian invasion and the peloponnesian war.

If they did a Rome II, i hope they expand on naval combat. More diverse unit armour. and a more realistic siege battles.

They already did a game in Asian setting. It would be either Victoria or Rome II.
