The scarce horses in Portugal at the time prevented the Lusitans to have horse artillery and any good cavalry.
They only had dragoons basically.
We havent found any reference (OOB) of a portuguese horse artillery or any other cav than Dragoons .
Let us know if you have any.

All our armies are set to the 1809-1815 period uniforms
We pick an year from that period and do the whole army acordingly.
We dont mix periods in the same army.

ATM the Spaniards have a mix of the 3 different periods.aka
Simplifying
The Bicorn period 1800-1806
The top hat period 1807-1812
The british period 1812-1816
I choose the latest to standarize as no mod out there has chosen that period and they look very neat.
I know its a bit dull, but the whole thing looks now more consistant and proper.

New units look great but i am disappointed in losing the Spanish 1808 uniforms - they look so much better!! Is the whole Spanish roster going to be based on 1813 uniforms??

As for additional info on the Portuguese cavalry and arty, the only source I can think of is (surprise, surprise) Osprey Men-at-arms series. There are 3 books on the Portuguese in Napoleonic wars. I think I might have one of those lying around.

Let me tell you what i think about Spanish and Prussian units you have; You running out of colours!
Seriouselly, not too colorful uniforms (altough only thing that matters in this mod is; how historically accurate they are)

They werent very creative...you are right.....thats why i choose to have the spanish conscripts in their light blue outfit with the white shako cover.

Ah....British and Ottomans are the last army to rebalance....I dont if they will be ready for V1 ....

Would be great to see more of Brunswick troops in British roster indeed. A cavalry unit or two, and a unit of sharp-shooters perhaps.

I dont think they made that in actual mod, but perhaps it could be sub-mod.

Those three books are exactly the ones I've used as references for my Portuguese Units Mod (Sorry, I feel as if I'm promoting my stuff ). Osprey series are indispensable modding resources.

Ive been working on this because I found nothing ....and now....great news!

Thou our Spanish army is based in 1814 uniforms, but the portuguese Ill definetly take a look althought I already reworked them..
