    Default Changing factions victory conditions...

Having spent nearly 3 hours and continuously failing to change chosokabes voctory conditions, im here asking for help.

I've opened data.pack (and copied it for backups) with PFM, navigated to campaigns >jap_shogun>startpos.esf

After extracting startpos i open it up with ESF editor 1.4.8

then i navigate to the proper place (chosokabe) and im currently trying to change the teritory requirement for the longest campaign (60 teritories by 1600) Im going for something like 20-30.....

i save. then i replace startpos.esf in the data.pack with the one i just edited. Save.

Go in game, and nothing changed

    What am i dong wrong?

Also i noticed after editing my startpos.esf i cannot open it again. It keeps crashing.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Well, you got farther than me.
You said you "navigate to the proper place". Now where's that!?
I opened startpos.esf with ESF editor 1.4.8, but all I see under victory conditions is alot of numbers and no significations.
Can you help? Or anyone else?
    I took a screenshot:
