trouble :(

hey guys, sorry if this has been asked before but...
i'm having some trouble getting the game to start!
install went perfectly and it was all good until i started it up and it went to the first screen where it says 'lord of the rings total war' and the version and patch and all that and then it just turns off and goes back to my desktop
any ideas whats going on and how to fix it?

Did you try reinstalling it again just to be safe? and do you have alexander for steam or disc?

did you install it over vanilla or unmodded rome total war folder?

It seems to have fixed itself haha
must of just been having a bad day! thanks for the suggestions anyway guys
