Who really thought that Ned Stark would've betrayed his wife with a girl he just met during war-time? He's so honorable, he reveals his knowledge to Cersei. So I guess that's where Seann Bean is pointing at.

Don't care about Jon Snow's parentage one iota. His persona is more accessible in book-format than on television. Actor doesn't help though as he tries to be Clint Eastwood in 80% of his scenes and tells about his great Harrington-badge in 9/10 interviews.

A Seann Bean-cameo would come in handy to a cast whose good performers have really depleted over the last season.

Yeah I'm not really to invested in Jon's parentage either. I wouldn't be surprised if he was Ned's son, nor would the alternative really surprise me. I think a lot of people read to much into what GRRM does/says. Not every little detail has a back story in his books and I think this could very well be the case with Jon.

I hope the should really go with someone more famous to play Arianne as she is and should be the single most important dornish character over the next few seasons! Let's just hope they do not switch the roles of Maryn Trant and Arys Oakenheart... xD

Also I think we can agree that the ironborn castings will be way more interesting.. so far what we have seen from the ironborn is a huge disapointment except maybe Dagmer..

As for making european looking essos characters (Saladoor, Xaro and now Areo) look african.. who is really surprised?

partial announcment i guess. but it seems dorne has been cut radically. really, you make trystane the heir? he is almost as much a non character as willas. and no arianne, probably the most fleshed out dornish character? the point of myrcellas story is female sucession, or is that cut for that dumb m+t lovestory ive heard about? no doran reaching out for dany? but we get jaime in dorne, is oberyn the only important dornish? sake, you better not blow the greyjoy part.
