I rewatched Syrio's scene and i have to say it looks too staged for me. He moves slowly, the opponents freeze, waiting for his actions - especially one man, grabbed by the coat. I love GRRM not for the only action, i like the series. But the fightng scenes look unconvincingly for me. Except Ned and Jame's fight.
Yes we saw awesome Stark shields too, even worn by soldiers, just not in combat, we`ll see more in action soon I hope I am noob with sword and shield but i rarely let any oponent between sword and shield with his weapon not to mention whole body though i wear no armor in my practice battles and longest time i was able to fight totally without pause was around 8-10 minutes. It consumes stamina like hell... Fight Vardis vs Bronn was not 3 minutes long in series however.
Scene with Syrio was good enough for me, i just did not wanted him to die at all
As i expected they skipped both fights, Tyrions and Robbs too but somehow it was great and awesome again. Shagga was looking cool with those battle-axes

yeah lame that they skipped the battles but still a very good episode. the scene at baelors sept was really good. i got on the hbo message boards and people who've never read the books are freaking the out.
I wanted to see Kingslayer in action, he destroys 5-6 knights in the book in that battle. That was the last chance to show off his sword skills before he gets stumpy.
Same thing happened on Rome all the time too, they'd sure the lead up to a battle, then it's over. Too expensive I suppose.
I knew Eddard was going to die tonight, but im still sad...I feel for my poor emotions if the show makes it far enough to show the Red Wedding.
Theoretically, if one did not have HBO, how would one watch this series?
(Y'know, since it's been going for 3 months)
Jon had taken Donal and Benjen’s advice to heart: Sam may be fat and pathetic, but he is still a member of the watch, and one of the few black brothers who isn't a rapist or thief. (out of context, this sounds ridiculously racist)

True. And I dont think they will get Nikolai Coster-Waldau for the second season because Jaime doesnt make any significant appearance in A Clash of Kings, does he?
just sayin
The friendly neighbourhood hobo with a shotgun of Westeros: Total War, bringing the Game of Thrones to life!

btw, anyone browsed the "new" post count ranks of twc?

Are they all hate posts
mmh, is it possible to make 34000 hate posts without being banned forever?
Those are just small things that I really wish they would include. I found myself saying WTF! when I heard shae talking.

is there any plan to remake other books by the same author??
well, not remake but reimagine by another medium??

Doubt it.
Episode 9 was simply stunning, the best thing about this series is that you dont know what will be happening next, as opposed to today's shows and movies you can almost always know what will happen next, but not on this I cant wait for the season finale I dont know what Ill do with myself waiting this long
Have you not read the books This is going to be fun
BPC made it worse.
I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE (on a website I trust)!!!

well theoretically i know how to. But it's against the rules to tell. Maybe in riddle form:
There is a bay, a bay where pirates dwell, there you can search, search game of thrones.
O man what a great episode that was, it's pretty funny reading or seeing reactions from people who have never read the books.
