I am guessing the dragons are missing because of how much of detail and extra work needed to be made to make convincing stone dragons.
they probably though the money is better spent on something we are going to see for more than 12 seconds in the entire season.
I know what you mean, just their appearence in the show impressed me ;p
I always imagined them like this:

And the music in the trailer really does it's job.
How were they dressed in the books? I remember imagining them with some kind of white tunic and not much else. And yes, they do have a deft hand for picking good trailer music.

I saw the trailer around 2am. My dreams were filled with it. Most haunting for me was the sight of Orell Sixskins, Tormungand scaling the wall, and wondering if Styr will be there too. Nightmares of the Long Night. Images of my local city, in twilight, with the sort of excitement of a weekday evening when you have the next few days off, oblivious to the coming night.
Also, I pictured the Unsullied more like Egyptian soldats in Rome Total War, with hats like this:

at trailer: 0:18 - 0:20 SAM THE SLAYER
But it would be far more sensible for them to be actually armored, though clearly not as heavily as the Knights and Men at Arms of Westeros.

Lysander waited; the fruit fell. None may take this from him, that
he gained for his country and her allies that triumph which no
other had proved capable of securing over thrice nine years of war.

I thought 9 was to be Autumn Storms or was that merely a working title? Anyway, looks like Martin is getting the fun stuff to write, thought he hated that bit thoughReally hope there's as strong a musical element as the titles suggest.
damn it![]()

Episode 7 was supposed to be "Autumn Storms" then it got changed to "Chains". A few days ago GRRM said on his blog he'd changed the title and gotten a song instead. Now it makes sense. (I totally don't feel geeky after saying this..)
Interesting episode titles imo. "Valar Dohaeris" follows up the season 2 ending "Valar Morghulis", which is a nice thing if you recognize it. It also seems there are a lot more quotes and songs in the titles, very different from the previous seasons and episodes - "Dark Wings, Dark Words", "And Now His Watch Has Ended", "Kissed By Fire", "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" and "Rains of Castamere".
Should be interesting to see who Mhysa is, I'm assuming it's a name. Can't recall anyone in the books named that, anyways.
EDIT: After a quick search on the wiki, "Mhysa" is the Ghiscari word for Mother. Mother of Dragons. You get the jist.
