The Alex one has potential, you just have to add a lot of stuff (provinces and such)

Aye, definitely! Try to ask Big Boss if he agree, but I don't think there'll be any trouble! Moreover if I remember well, in megas alexandros the map is the same of RoP

I'd love to, but I wish I had mapping skills. I could help with text editing (if there is need of any)

well... first i'll come up with a list of the files to change

also: lets move this to the developer's forum (notice possessive) where the developers (notice plural noun) can work on this privately

I'm not a THS developer, but why not just use the map from Persian Invasion? It's everything the RoP map is and more.

Yeah, I have. I'm quite familiar with the RoP map through RoP and MA and I was a historian for Persian Invasion a while back when Comrade was actually making its map.

One that included Bactria and the Indus valley would be excellent.

So, something similar to Mundus Magnus, minus most of Western Europe.

Unfortunately, Baktria cannot be included, since this is jsut a prvoincial campaign and so it'll use the same factions and units of the imperial one!

    I see...

May I ask what time frame you are aiming for?

Either way, I recommend the Europa 270 map in the "Released Mods" forum. Very large map that you could use (if you can take only small sections).

If there was a large Greek/Anatolia map, you could get a very good provincial campaign of the city states (Use Greek cities, Macedon, Thrace units for different major greek cities)?

There's also the obvious P.Campaign of Rome attempting to unify the Italian peninsula? Just a map of Italy and the immediate surrounding areas, could start at the same time as the main campaign (when Rome only controlled the centre of Italy) or start it a bit later (before the Samnite Wars 343BCE), and use some factions as the Samnites, Greek cites (Croton, Syracuse).

    Just suggestions.

I think it's a bit hard to represent the smaller factions, as the 22 slots have been used. It's a good idea, but most provinces would be used by the rebels, and many new units would have to be created so that the Italian rooster isn't so poor (IIRC, the only italian units are the Samnite mercenaries.)
