This mod changes the unit names like "shimazu naginata" instead "naginata" before?

Mod has been updated to 1.1 with 8 new supported units.
Also, big thanks to Swiss H for adding the mod to his UPC-SHO project.
The mod doesn't change any vanilla units or their names, but since there are completely new custom unit entries for each faction, you will notice that units' names now have their faction prefixed to them.
nice .. but can you post some screnshots ?
Wow this mod is amazing! I've been waiting for such a mod! Thank you very much, Aira!!!
Thank You Mate for your great work!!![]()
after playin with PFM, i notice that vanilla unit doesn't exist in table. Would You mind to add this one too? It would be great if that unit exists in your table since its control minor unit (useful when editing morale or something for all unit).
PS: IF you don't have enough time, would you mind to post some tutorial? I tried to copy paste from vanilla table but after several copy paste, PFM get error![]()
The vanilla units aren't in my mod pack because I didn't make any changes to them, and I didn't want to overwrite any changes that other mods may have made to them. If you would like to edit the vanilla unit stats, then you should either modify the vanilla files directly, or if you have another mod that edits them, edit the files in that mod.

@Aira
[REQUEST] Can you please make unique Generals too? ^_^ The only "different" vanilla generals are available in custom battles only :\
That would be great! Thanks![]()
Of course! I will remember to do that in any future releases.
I really don't understand the request for screenshots, but since there have been a number of requests for them, I will try to remember to take a couple next time I'm testing something in-game.
I could make the units, but since you don't recruit generals in the campaign, I'm not sure what code tells the game which unit entry in the db tables to use for a general's unit.
Is there any chance you can add unique naval units? I cannot open the naval_uniforms table since it is not supported yet...
@Aira - Oh I see! How stupid was my idea! haha ^_^. Hmm, would it be possible for you to create a NEW unit with general's models? ;o or that golden armor hero with the mask?I could make the units, but since you don't recruit generals in the campaign, I'm not sure what code tells the game which unit entry in the db tables to use for a general's unit.![]()
Naval units are on my to do list, so I will have them eventually. I've done a little bit of experimenting, but I've still got a number of bugs to work out before I can release them. Hopefully it won't take too long
Actually, I think it's a good idea. If every other unit gets a unique version, then why not generals? If I can ever figure out how to actually implement them in the campaign, I will certainly do so.
Also, yes, it is definitely possible to add new units with a general's models, or any other model for that matter![]()
anyone got some screenshotswould be very helpful
Great work! I'd like to see unique general unit for each faction as well.
I have mod the general units like "Gen_Takeda_Shingen" to be recruitable in the campaign, it will show up as general portrait in the recruit list and when recruited, it has a unique name for the general character, with the general unit details as "Takeda Shingen" and its stats.
may be of some help to make unique general for each faction.
I will put up some soon. Hopefully today, but definitely by tomorrow.
I'm aware of this, however, my goal is not to make generals recruitable. I would like to figure out how to make a unique bodyguard unit for each faction, but I am not sure what tells the game which bodyguard unit to use for characters.
Hello Aira, basically the solution would be to clone an existing general unit and then create one for each clan. Then you could assign different unit_variant models for them that they're unique. The unit would show up in the campaign as the other cavalry units. But the mystery is how to link these units to characters somehow. So these units would be like other cavalry units and there would be no character-link or generals skill tree.
