Its now released or it is in open beta.

You have to register first or use ea account and then choose a class and then download the game.

Classes are:

• Assault
• Medic
• Engineer
• Recon

I don't know. Graphics looks like in battlefield 2 or better. And there is also some kind of weapon upgrades maybe. Im downloading it right now.

From what I've heard is that it combines the graphics and maps of Battlefield 2 with the equipment and characters/vehicles from Battlefield: BC2, looks good though. Too bad my computer is slowly falling apart and I can't play MP games properly...

From what I can gather it is essentially an MMO version of BF 2. It has the whole XP to unlock things going for it but people can buy to progress faster.

Seems relatively pointless when someone can get BF 2 for tuppens now and not have to deal with all the negatives like not being able to change class (would seriously get on my nerves).

I've played it a bit and it really isn't fun at all. It manages to look worse than BF2 while playing clunkier and just generally feeling boring. It's honestly better to just spend $10 on the Complete Collection of BF2 and play Project Reality or something.

Bf2 engine and maps, but bad company classes and Heroes style menu thing and xp stuffs.

Basically I concluded the same as Danny. Its a version of Bf2, so why not just buy Bf2 for a meagre sum and have much more fun

You earn gold for free daily in WoT. More to the point I fail to see how that applies to this as you can buy weapons and extra class slots in BF P4F in almost the same sense as WoT; you can progress slowly for free or spend money ranking up quickly.

WoT is in beta stage until April 12th, thats why gold is free so far. As for this game, I tried it and didn't like it. It lags like crazy and I really hate that you can't switch your class. I'd rather fill my time with upcoming Red Orchestra and than just enjoy Battlefield 3 in its full glory.

The game is just random map 12 vs. 12 tank battles. But once the game goes live it's going to be far more indepth. But right now it really depends on your teammates, I admit I raged alot while playing the game because I had a horrible team, but if you join a good game it's fantastic.

I've played it for some time as of now (closed beta veteran). I must say, the game is based on the Battlefield: Heroes engine, and employs exactly the same system of levelups, upgrades, in game currency etc., combined with the maps and weapons of BF2, and some BFBC 2 features.
