Actually i was not talking about the reps. I have read the rules of the forum and read this one too.

What happened that day was that i was in complete bad, nay worst humor due to stress overload and kinda got annoyed seeing the 'sticking out tongue'. In fact i have nothing against Okmin, i believe we could event be good friends. It was just that i saw the 'sticking out tongue' at a most possibly wrong time.

So, If i have caused any trouble or hurt anyone coz of that post, I am Really Sorry. If possible, can we all as British and even Americans say it "Let bygones be bygones".

Hi, just thought i'd like to add my two pence as a Imperial British Historian:

in the 1858 peel commission reforms, three safeguards were introduced by the British. The First of these was an increase in the number of European Troops.
The Second was that the ratio of native troops was not to be greater than 2:1 of Europeans in the infantry and cavalry for Bengal and 3:1 for Bombay and Madras.
Thirdly, Artillery and arsenals should be monopolised by Europeans.

i noticed that in the first lot of photos, the artillary was being manned by indian troops. further reforms in the 1880's decreased regiment numbers (i.e. amount of regiments) and transferred their British officers and surplus native troops to remining regiments to save cost and increase performance after the afghanistan debacle.

one major area of British india was the use of different castes of troops fron different areas. i.e. rival castes and 'clans' for want of a better word would be used to garrison rival territory and (unless in emergency situations) were not permitted to change. effectively the british managed to use the divisive nature of the natives to their advantage to prevent another 'mutiny' like in 1857 and it worked very well. It was one of the major factors in the reforms.
