Since Wlesmana is not around from a long time I dunno if Balrog and Ents will be in the upcoming release
Just hope Wles will be back soon, he was making some very nice new /remodded units, I would greatly miss them.

Did he let you without any news ? Did he left an email adress ? It would be a shame to lose the work he have done.

give them to orc rabbles since i believe they really need them (weak units) which is not very good late game vs heavier units

also to Mordor since Bolrags are loyal to the dark lord
No they aren't, the Balrog from Lord of The Rings it's ans independent being.

The fact is that Sauron, the Balrog and Gandalf are Maiar, so they are beings of equal power (that's the reason Gandalf was able to destroy the Balrog, but spent all is energy and "died" in the process). The Balrogs were Maiar corrupted by Melkor (Sauron ex-leader) and had no connection to Sauron after Melkor defeat.

I'd say Balrog should be added to Orc Rabbles. To Moria, as a general and he couldn't move out from there.

In Battle for middle earth 2 (for the computer which was made by the lotr people), The Balrog is used as a power under the Goblin team. The Goblins did fear it, but that would be the only one that made sense.

It also makes sense because the balrog comes from moria which in that period was controlled by goblins.
I am the shadow, and the smoke in your eyes I am the ghost, that hides in the night.

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France,
we shall fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
    we shall fight in the hills;
    we shall never surrender.

    " The dark is generous.
Its first gift is concealment: our true faces lie in the dark beneath our skins, our true hearts remain shadowed deeper still. But the greatest concealment lies not in protecting our secret truths, but in hiding from the truths of others.
The dark protects us from what we dare not know.
Its second gift is comforting illusion: the ease of gentle dreams in night’s embrace, the beauty that imagination brings to what would repel in the day’s harsh light. But the greatest of its comforts is the illusion that dark is temporary: that every night brings a new day. Because it’s the day that is temporary.
    Day is the illusion.
Its third gift is the light itself: as days are defined by the nights that divide them, as stars are defined by the infinite black through which they wheel, the dark embraces the light, and brings it forth from the center of its own self.
With each victory of the light, it is the dark that wins.

The dark is generous, and it is patient.
It is the dark that seeds cruelty into justice, that drips contempt into compassion, that poisons love with grains of doubt.
The dark can be patient, because the slightest drop of rain will cause those seeds to sprout.
The rain will come, and the seeds will sprout, for the dark is the soil in which they grow, and it is the clouds above them, and it waits behind the star that gives them light.
    The dark’s patience is infinite.
    Eventually, even stars burn out.

The dark is generous, and it is patient, and it always wins.
It always wins because it is everywhere.
It is in the wood that burns in your hearth, and in the kettle on the fire; it is under your chair and under your table and under the sheets on your bed. Walk in the midday sun, and the dark is with you, attached to the soles of your feet.
The brightest light casts the darkest shadow.

The dark is generous and it is patient and it always wins – but in the heart of its strength lies its weakness: one lone candle is enough to hold it back.
Love is more than a candle.
    Love can ignite the stars."

I was about to say that, thanks. Balrog and Sauron relation is just as he said. They obeyed Melkor. The Balrog is not loyal to Sauron. And also not to golblins/orcs... He is independent, as saruman said he is "awakened". I know it is hard to put him in a role but definetely it is not a general for orcs. Fixing him to Moria seems good but then ??? Fighting against an invinciable creatures is not preferable also. You may give him to goblins(as a summon or hero or somthg diffrnt) or you may creat him for only moria, against who own the city(except orcs). He may appear some turns against the city owner vs...vs...

Anyway I would like to see Balrog in Lort-TW very very much, and I will not complain about it regardless how you make it, promiss...

In the movie(and the story), doesn't seems like goblins are controlling Balrog... Am I wrong??

True it seems more like they worship him and he seems to ignore them as shown in both book and movie he tends to chase down and kill intruders but ignore the goblins altogether and just use them as an alarm system or to weaken or slow down the intruders.

Just like to point out the Balrog was beaten by a old man with a sword lol...

Question: If the Goblins are scared of the Balrog in Fellowship of the ring, then why are they in the same Underground city what ever it was ... i mean if i was a Goblin and i had a Devil type creature in the same house as me I WOULD RUN! lol.

Wouldnt it av been cool if the Goblins got like 10 Trolls to fight the Balrog xD Who would win

The Balrog would win hands down... The old man only won because he was a maiar.
