    Hi there

    I'm looking for a mod for Fall of the Samurai campaign which will nicely improve that campaign. I'm playing with Radious Total War Mod - FotS version, but I'm not fully satisfied with it.

    I don't know if Darthmod works with FotS.

    Are there any interesting mods that can improve this campaign?

    Hey, I am looking for a mod that increases the amount of dead units that are killed when the player chooses End Battle, instead of the very limited number of deaths that are made in vanilla, this is in response to CA removing the "Continue Battle" function in co-op with FotS. Does such a mod exist?

    Default Seeking mod for less navy focus

    Is there a mod that moves the focus from the sea back to land? We've been playing a lot of co-op campaign lately and we basically find no armies on land, but tons of navy instead. This is the major concern, and if we're able to make the AI stay on land more and use less navy we'd have a lot more fun.

    If the mod also removes a lot of the cheating and so on, other general fixes, it'd be nice.

    So, any ideas here?

    Darthmod? It makes the AI more able to defend it's settlements, and stops the game from cheating. It also add tons of other things and as long as you and your co-op partner have the same settings the mod should work perfectly fine.

    Looking for a mod similar to Kungfuserge's "Shaolin" or "Kojiro" mod. I came looking for it, but apparently all links are down, and kungfuserge cannot be contacted. His custom hero units were just... fabulous. Anyone know how to acquire those units?

    Sekigahara campaign has those heroes, I think Miyamoto is Kato and Kojiro is for Ukita, or just check the custom battle to see the unit lists.

    (Its clickable by the way....An S2 overhaul mod.)

    Seriously. Click it. Its the only overhaul mod that's overhauling enough to bring out NEW clans

    Hello there! I've lurked here for a good while and have used a couple of the larger (and a few of the smaller) mod(packs) out there. My most recent escapades on Darthmod were rather fun to say the least (and then randomly my entire game was corrupted, yay for re-installation). I digress.

    I decided to join the site to ask one question that to me, is rather important, but I'll give a little reasoning behind it first. I currently have all of the DLC for Shogun and find all three campaigns to be rather fun, though at times a bit dull or like continuity is a bit...off. Each game has somewhat unique sets of units in relation to each other, yet offers no stepping stone units.

    Then I got to thinking about Rise of the Samurai Units in the base game, or units like them. Not being someone versed in making mods, I figured that at least someone has come up with a mod for just that. Fortunately I was correct, unfortunately that sort of modification is apparently not allowed, which saddens me, but I do admit that there are likely good reason for it and that I could even understand said rule....if I could find said rule or even a list of rules. I clicked the 'Rules' button which took me to the TOS, so I went looking through that and have read the vast majority of it (skimmed the rest) and could find nothing pertaining to modifying the game.

    So what it really comes down to is, are there mods at at least add units similar to Rise of the Samurai to the base game, and if there IS a list of rules for modifying the base game could someone please point me in the correct direction?

    that add many new things and stuf, but not making the game harder.

    Default I don't finish FOTS campaigns

    I don't know about you, but I have yet to finish a FOTS campaign. The game just slows to a crawl after realm divide in a number of ways the other two campaigns don't. Going in to realm divide I have great armies, great upgrades, great income, and a great navy.

    Although I am doing substantially better than I have before, the game is just plain not fun at this point. Reinforce script ships keep attacking all my production, and thankfully I manage my money so I don't lose much economy to it, and I have a couple of superior naval stacks that can sweep up the ships, I lose turns when a "rambo ship" as I call it, comes in from out of my vision radius and plops a reinforce script generated army on a random province. The province has no strategic value to the AI, and it certainly can't hold on to it, the tactic only seems made to delay. While I appreciate that the AI's only smart move is to collectively stall me and try and run me against the clock, it feels really gamey and unsatisfying.

    I beat all their land armies into pulp because of my superior unit composition, but of course reinforce script always ensures they have another army to run right past my invasion force (abandoning their towns) just to make me go back and fetch them.

    I don't think I'm playing incorrectly (maybe I could use more ships), and I'm not new to the game or to total war mechanics (I have dozens of completed shogun 2 vanilla campaigns on hard/very hard), but it almost feels like in FOTS they were very concerned about complaints that the game was "too easy' once you hit a certain size, and just designed the whole late game on slowing down your victory.

    This is FotS main problem, the game is really fun until you get so superior that the AI just doesn't stand a chance. The main problem is how effective artillery, and breech-loading rifles are.

    I was wondering if there are mods out there that edit the FotS campaign, not only the battles. I've read a little about Darth Mod, TROM: Road to Kyoto and Radious Mods but I didn't find much about the campaign itself.

    I'm looking for a mod that changes the FotS campaign (buildings, economy, everything) the way TROM did for Shogun II. Battle changes are of course also very welcome.
