    Default When using PFM

How do you make your changes override the default settings. Do I need to edit all the .pack files to reflect the change, or can I set my new .pack file mod to override somehow? All I am trying to do is edit the number of soldiers in the units, and possibly change the officer.

    thnks

If youre starting with a new .pack, open up your patch.pack with PFM, go to the table you want to edit, then right click on it and save the table. Then open up that table directly from the one you saved (so that you're not in patch.pack anymore, but "saved db table".pack. Now, right click on the .pack in PFM and go to the option that allows you to set it to a movie.pack (i think). Now, edit to your heart's content, and put the .pack in the data folder.

Hope that helps. Personally, i use a .pack from another mod on this forum, and just load the table into that pack (with right-click-add table)

It's also very important to set your new mod pack's type to 'movie,' otherwise it won't load (unless you put it in your user.script) and you won't see the changes.
