Great mod you guys been doing, can't wait for it to come out. I have a question, it is possible to separate Haiti from the Dominican Republic? I mean if the mod starts in 1865 Haiti was and independent while the DR was under the Spanish protectorate (even though they got their independence later that year). Also, you should put Hispaniola in the USA victory conditions since they were very interest in the DR in that time. Hope this information is useful, once again, great mod.

I'm afraid we can't separate Haiti from the Dominican Republic, no.

That's a shame, I mean they were two different colonies ruled by two different countries, why did the developers made them together? They made Gibraltar and Malta, but couldn't make Haiti and the DR separate regions. That's crazy.
Sorry for my complaining, it's just something I don't understand :p

Gibraltar and Malta were always rather more important strategically. Hispaniola isn't.

Well, I guess you're right, but Haiti was France most productive colony. They could at least made it as emergent faction, the became independent in 1804, I mean they made Mexico and Greece emergent factions and they were independent in 1810 and 1821.

Anyhow, I don't claim to know CA's thought process. What I do know is they made it the way it is and as it stands now there is nothing we can do about it.

Have you guys played the ETW http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forum...e-and-the-Grey I find this mod and its detail on units and it's CAI a BAI mechanics should be a model to seriously take a look at.

Its mechanics come from DarthMod, same as ours. No need for us to slavishly copy them however, we are covering a wider area/time period.

Not necessary to copy, but maybe team up. Ils easier and Faster to go ahead, than to reinvent the wheel all over again. The same way, that ETW did and later did american indepedence. But it's a little suggestion. Especially that you Guys are covering the same era.

I don't think there is any need to team up. We have our ways of doing things, they have theirs. We've got permission to use anything from the Primergy/Shokh/Hinkel version of the mod anyway.
