Anybody ever see this before. I was mopping up some Indies in Calabria, just west of Tarentum, and found a burial mound on the map. I've been playing RTW for nearly 5 years and I've never seen this. This game never ceases to amaze me.

IIRC this is a tholos grave; a Bronze Age-style grave from Greece. So what it's doing here in Italy is a mystery, but cool nonetheless.

I've found one of those graves (Μακεδονικός τάφος in greek= Makedonikos tafos/ Macedonian tomb) in a battle near Pergamon. The funny part was when i put all my archers (cretian) and slingers on the top. They annihilated any oposition before the enemy could advance nearby my phalanx .

I've seen them before, but they're rare. There's a few battlefield objects like them.

nice screenshot ST, looks like a movie screen bloody fade out...the glints off the shields is a nice touch.

That's a great screenshot. The only improvement I can think of is if you weren't fighting the Indie Greeks and there bright green clothing.
