Finding/deleting unit bitmaps?

I was told that there are different bitmaps for units that display rather than the high quality one, making the units appear in lesser quality.

were can I find these?

I supposed they are included in the dds.

dds support several level of mipmaps.

Photoshop opens me "do you want to load bitmaps?" before opening a diffuse file and yeah there they are

cropped out the important parts, game runs fine from the looks of it

any predictions of possible long term damage if I do this to all major factions?

It will probably format all your hard drive, destroy 63% of the pixels on your monitor, your future babies will be born with 4 arms...

Beside this, you should be fine .

Seriously, except some lag when zooming unit with many units, nothing drastic to fear. Depends on your computer performances.
