    These changes make rifle units bit more usefull (not overpowered) and finaly makes difference between Bow Asigaru and Bow Samurai.

    I tried your mod (v9 and v3) and what I noticed was:

    - battles are longer - that's a fact. Units defend even too long (v9) - even surrounded and after general and other units routed (this unit was 1st level Katan Sam not Monks vets). But this is only my personal opinion.
    - bow range - IMO should be more diversified cause the same range for BS and BM (165) makes monks totally unefective when you consider their cost. I changed vanilla version to:
    BAsh - 135, BSam - 150 (vanilla), BMonks - 175 (vanilla) and with speed reduction mod (20/10) it works well and seems to be more balanced. BMonks dont have armor and costs a lot, so they should have that range advantage.

    Changing clan version of some units is great idea ! I might try this mod... but the thing is that it comes with all other changes..

    Its nice that you changed it exactly how it suits you Sir. Still i think its balanced, yes Samurai and Monks have now same range and yes Monks costs more, but overall monks are better in statistics, they have better accuracy, faster reload, better morale and they can use Whistling arrows ability. If you use version with changed unit sizes then they have same amount of men as BS so i think they are worth that price.

    We would have to do some tests to resolve this (and also include things like technology and building costs). But who is right is not the most important thing. I am glad that you made all this mods cause even if someone dont like all changes you applied it gives him an idea what he would like to change and what game he wants - and that is huge contribution IMO ! (at least it helped me alot)

    Yes i am providing more versions then most mods here, but this doesnt mean you cannot edit it anymore. If somethnig doesnt fit you exactly, then you can just easily change it. More versions i do is mainly for people who do not have any/much experience with modding so for them is to create own suitable version impossible.

    Could you make a V13 without the Yari fix, I prefer the vanilla style over yari-only

    I will try V12 but can you you make it without the morale bonus, +50% morale and larger bonus to armor and defence?

    I could really use that cav tweak.
    cause indeed, the cav are really weak in shogun2.

    You can defeat one regiment of cav with every other regiment of infantery (except bows)

    Thank you for such a quick reply Radious.

    I tried S2 realism mod but I found that battles lasted too long for my liking. So it si great just tog et 50% extra morale and 1-3 extra stats. i think that will make a huge difference. but not so much as S2 realism mod.


    Would it be possible to get more details on the cavalry balance fix and download it? I would like my cavalry to be stronger in the game for sure.

    New versions uploaded:

    Radious_StatsV15 - 50% morale boost for all units + larger bonus to armor and defence + range units balance + cavalry balance + Yari Asigaru change + morale changes + additional rebalances + stronger generals

    Stronger Generals - General units got updated stats to be a better warriors on the battlefield and not just scared chickens who must avoid any fight. They are not strong as Hero units but now they are able to make some damage. They got improved melee skill, charge, mounted and dismounted defence, armor and morale. If you want to use them against Yari/Naginata i still recomend dismounting them first.

    could you perhaps combine 5 + 6 + 10? without penalizing bow ashi's range? because of gun's short range I never use them in my games. I would like my range units to have about the same range with elites slightly longer so they can always have the first shot in battle vs inferior troops. just a request. thanks for reading.

    Rad, I'm trying to make the General's unit bigger and with better stats to fit in with the units I've modded (I've increased all unit sizes besides Ashigaru) but I'm not sure which one in db table unit_stats_land is the right one. Any ideas? For campaign, not historical battle btw.

    You need to change all generals sizes so all clans have bigger size. If that is your intention ofcourse. Table is riht - unit_stats_land, just find generals there and one of the first options is unit size - change this, but dont forget add horses aswell, so you dont have more men then horses
