    I think I have figured out how to get "Caravans" on the strat map ok, my thinking,

    1. is I replace the strat map model for Islamic merchants with the battle model for Camels
    (exchange the textures as well)

    2. then make Islamic merchants (change all text for them to Caravan) recruitable only in Caravan stops & caravanssaries & increase how many you can have & recruit at one time

    edit: if this is doable I will also change Islamic spies to elephants
    & Islamic assassins to another more appealing unit for them

    Sounds good, what about the little small carts than move from city to city?

    I am thinking of changing all marriage features (events,text & anything else involving marriage) to Concubine
    so for instance: bride available becomes Concubine offered

    marriage Celebrations becomes new Concubine taken

    & so on

    I am thinking of making victory conditions simple
    hold like twenty five regions plus the five fortresses and thus adding
    like 5-7 more factions which are "unlock able" (you get to play these factions once you beat the game)

    Just a question Druvatar, how many regions you have planned for SoC? Maybe you could increase the amount of regions unless you want fast campaign or maybe the fortress is difficult to capture (let say one fortress for each faction and you need them all), not sure, please advise about that feature

    There are a lot of regions. Rebels are very aggressive. The key of the mod is not to capture all the land, but to defeat the rebels in the center of the map (who have 5, heavily guarded citadels, with many stacks). Once you expand around your Empire, it will be a rush to capture the citadels, hence restoring order to the world and capturing back the old legacy of the empire that fell.

    @st. Polycarpe there already about 155 regions total on the map ( but I am sure after testing and inevitable changes to come it probably be about 180) and the five fortresses I mean are part of all factions win conditions, they are located in the middle of the Island are Rebel & heavily fortified! so as every campaign ends with the "big" battle for these that is why I was thinking only about 25 regions for victory also so you can unlock the not yet playable factions quicker!

    Ohoh! That's sounds great. Always love epic siege battles. I recommend you to use Germanicus5 BAI (personally, I believe it's the best one around imo). http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=253132 Just ask him the permission .

    thank you! ok amost all common events will be changed in title as well as description & Icon~ also I am removing all references to "faction" & replacing it with "Dynasty"
