Doesnt work so far, steam updated version (not downloaded, limited edition disc version), I've put the "special_technologies.pack" into my game data directory (Steam\SteamApps\common\total war shogun 2\data) but the techs still take their shown count, it may be cause a conflict since I do use some other mods :
darthmod_shogun.pack;
special_technologies.pack;
Toons_Shogun2.pack;
MOD_extended campaign_and_1 month per turn.pack;

Anyway, thanks for the submission.

I HAVE THE LIMITED EDITION AND IT WORKS JUST FINE MAY BE A CONFLICT WITH OTHER MODS.

Are there any tutorials? I have the this to this to this to this converter thing, but that doesn't really help much.. think it was called the PFW? I'm new to modding this, but I'd love to start working on it.

You will have a *.pack file in the Zip/Rar you're going to download, put it in the data folder of Shogun 2 (Drive:\Folder\Steam\SteamApps\common\total war shogun 2\data).
