    Default Rebel Generals Enhanced for 6.4

    Rebel Generals Enhanced v0.9
    aka R.G.E.

    This submod for 6.4 changes the independent generals in minor but significant ways.
    No longer do you have to bribe El Cid - simply have him follow his heart.
    Or capture him on the battlefield and bring him to the gallows...

    Activating this will allow you to marry your princesses to independent generals
    and thus to integrate them into your royal family as well as enable you to take
    independents captive - release, ransom or execute them at will.

    1. Download the attached file and extract it on your desktop
    2. Place the txt in Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.4\data\campaign\sub
    3. Run Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.4\SS_setup.exe
    4. Select your era of choice, Rebel Generals Enhanced and any other submod you wish to use with it.


    Preview for marriages Send your princesses out to not only find lucrative alliances ...



    but to finally bring independant sovereigns into your royal house ...



    ... as long as they don't elect to do the same to you

    Preview for ransom and execution

    After intense fighting in the baltic region our glorious general decides the fate of the agressor ...



    but the cold-hearted enemy leadership is not swayed by our leniency and rejects our benevolent offer.



    We march again to defend our new found home against the rebel scum, but this time ...



    we won't be so lenient as before. They shall feel the might of our armies and the strength of our resolve.



    And so they fall before us, our lands are now free.



    Compatibility:
    Standard (vanilla) 6.4, everything else is untested as of yet.
    Not savegame-compatible for rather obvious reasons.
    If your ss_setup generates errors report your submod config here.
    Then simply rerun ss_setup without selecting this submod and wait for the fix

    Awesome addition! Can't wait to integrate this once i've started a new campaign! +rep 2 releases in one day, you've been busy. Is there any positve or negative trait passed down to children from rebel generals based on where they are from? (ie "of Leonese Blood" etc giving population bonus and w/e else it does)

    No traits etc yet as at the moment this is fairly basic - to get the fundamentals out so to speak

    fantastic idea and addition to the realism of the SS mod

    A wee bit. This adds additional interactions with rebel generals / armies as described in the op
    They still lack princesses, normal diplomacy (and diplomats) and a few other things.

    Never noticed this before- does this mean when rebels are defeated if you don't execute or ransom they are still going to be on the map? IE- now rebels defeated just disappear. I assume this makes them behave as another faction?

    Yes they still going to be survivors if you plan to release them in turn increasing your chivalry. & Yes same behaviour.
