Quad's Early Infantry Mod (Proper Austrian Helmets Within ;) )

hi all! before I begin I wish to state that this is a BETA, and is in no way finished. I've put it on the forums to get some feedback. I know we're all busy with shogun but I thought I'd post this anyway.

it includes my 1800 style british line infantry, a new austrian helmet I've been working on and some early style prussians with a big bicorn! I have some frenchies, ruskies, unit cards and equipment (with something very special included

) in the making but until theyre ready please enjoy!

if you have suggestions/wishlist by all means post away but I cant make any promises (I'll try tho!). Just keep in mind I'm trying to keep within a 1795-1805 period (so no asking for belgic shakos for my redcoats!

)

Installation:

Unzip to your data folder and activate with mod manager (future versions will not require mod manager activation)

i love the Austrian Helmet => i hope u add it to all Austrian units the Prussians look good but they look kinda fancy =P they got a Aristocrat look on them hats

Thank you all very much! Later versions will include the Austrian helmet given to the Hungarians and other line infantry units

Also I'm getting rid of those horrid trousers on the Prussians and giving them back they're boots. I know its parade dress and they wouldn't be worn on campaign but they look much more sexay!

True, I do not like their trousers, are horrible!

woaw! Those helmets are good, although not entirely accurate. I suppose it's not possible to do better without proper mesh! What did you use as a base?

And I like your officer in black coat. +rep!!

hey steph! i used the Russian cavalry helmet and the plume from the British horse guard helmet

i tried a few different things but in the end I was most happy with that combo.

I would like to see a good rework of the ingame Austrian Italian Campaign infantry uniforms!! also for the Hungarians!

Seems like a great effort, specially the addition of the officer's uniform for the austrians. Is it possible to give the crest puffy thing a black stripe on top?
