    Icon3 Player nomad army after city lost if army outside

    For the PLAYER:
    It would be awesome to be able to exist with an army without a city if an enemy take our city
    (our army would be out of the city/castle before). Nomad army, an horde like DLV mod for MTW2
    It's may be like that in the vanilla game I don't know...

    Darthmod?
    Realism?
    Else?

    I have to agree. I've always thought that bandits were pretty common in sengoku-era Japan from everything I've read and numerous accounts; it would be neat if they could just happen. I would have to say certain establishments should make them more common while others less common though; like larger castles, better roads, training schools should reduce the chance while sake dens, no garrison in the province, ports, etc should make the chance increase. and as always, there should be a minimum and maximum chance of it happening (so no 0% or 100% chance per turn of this occuring).

    Just my 2 cents. I realize this would be a rather big project involving unit-creation, buildings, and probably a lot of files. But it would be neat.

    I could not in anyway to agree with this more!

    I also wish that I could play as random rebels that pop up randomly rather than a faction. So it's sort of an army spawn that you would jump in at random time in a game of the CAI playing and you would try to take a castle and emerge as your own clan... >,>

    I had a similar thought yesterday, where you did not lose if all your provinces were taken but you had until your current money runs out to take back a province. Perhaps you'd have to disband all but one stack, and even that one had a few turns before there's no more cash and your soldiers leave you. That way you could hide in the forest if an enemy army approach your last stronghold and wait until he's clear and take it back.

    Don't know if it can be done though.
