Thread: Odd issue with upgraded garrison troops

Default Odd issue with upgraded garrison troops

I've edited the numbers of Samurai Retainers and Onna Bushi to comply with the unit sizes of my current project. Strange thing though, as I had one of those armour/weapon bonuses in a province, and when the Samurai Retainers spawned they spawn with the province bonus but with the original CA-number of troops.

Does anyone have any idea which files controls this, because I'm having a bit of a hard time figuring that one out.

You may want to check to make sure that you are using the most recent patchx.pack. I had a similar issue occur using patch2.pack's unit_land_stats with patch3.pack overwriting my changes.

I found out later on what I forgot in my haste, classic, forgot to tag the file correctly when upgrading to a new version and thus is was not read.

aint simple i stuffed up mistakes the best - easy to do and easy to fix.

Speaking from lots of similar experiences.

Have you rtied adding units to the building garrison table yet zowrath, i have only been able to change units avail, adding lines/new units caused some issues for me - table wouldn't pack/unpack from db to tsv.

EDIT: this table edits fine now with latest tools.
