The TWC forums suffered a significant loss of data. Everything between Christmas Day and January 12 was lost. Sadly, it seems that the lost data cannot be recovered. I know that, unfortunately, many writers here have lost updates - I am very sorry. More information is here.

Behind the scenes, the Writers' Study and Critic's Quill team are working on getting the Writers' Study Yearly Awards and the MAARC back into action.

Thank you for the update Alwyn. Frunk's method might be able to preserve the nominations cast thus far for the Writer's Study Yearly Awards.

I want a quick opinion poll on something from you guys. Is anyone even reading/following this?

The current status is that it is not dropped. But each chapters takes much investment and with my already booked spare time, I'd like to know if this is being enjoyed by at least one person.

I followed it from the start, missed the last update or two. I like to see the Attila AAR sub-forum thriving. It's gotten a very good amount of views, but I've been following Chronicles of Cimmeria, The Tin Isles, Let my people go, and The Fractured Eagle when I have time for reading. It's open ended and not based on a campaign objective so it can be rounded off, or left in continuum as you see fit.

Maybe I should consider moving this to the CW section. Perhaps it is now too complex to be an AAR.

And thanks for reading; I really appreciate the feedback you've given. Also, my question was if anyone was reading this so I can decide what to do with it. Coz even if a couple of people want it, I am prepared to continue writing by squeezing it in the spare time.

Me, too. It's one of the things I always check to see if there's an update (even if I don't have time to post a comment). I'd love to know how the story ends - and how it gets to that end.

    Good update, General Brewster!

To everyone reading this thread: if you have read creative writing or AARs on TWC, please consider submitting one or more nominations for the Writers' Study Yearly Awards. You do not have to nominate people in every category - you can simply nominate one writer or story in one category, if you want to.

TotW 247 Starman is now afoot. So.... which of you will have the courage to reach for the Stars? In other news... a new victor has been crowned, to him we should pay the spoils...

WINNER: TOTW 244 Where is the Ring? Things that we are powerless to resist
A Lion serves in Winter, then perhaps a Unicorn for the Spring.

    Hello,

On many game forums the AAR sub-forum is also the place to post links to 'Let's Play' videos of the game & mods. Is that the case on the Total War forum or is there a better place?

That's an impressive set of story prompts for writers, Mega Tortas, I look forward to seeing who is up to these challenges...

Welcome, Gamer_1745, yes, people are welcome to post links to Let's Play videos of the game and mods in the sub-forum for the game you're playing, here in the Writers' Study.

Readers and writers of TWC, don't forget to submit your nominations for the Writers' Study Yearly Awards by the end of January. You don't have to submit nominations in every category - if there is even one writer or story which you feel deserves recognition, don't forget to post your nomination before the deadline tomorrow.
