    Right.

I'm back from my holiday and sat at home, at the dining table, with my laptop at the ready.

I'm already considering chapter three of ARASOI and I've also had a few brainstorming ideas about my blog and my new role in Content Staff...

A busy weekend of writing ahead!!!

A censor is for adjudicating referrals against ctizens instead of being judged by the triumvirate. If I had an office I would have sharpened a whole stack of pencils and shuffled papers, surfed a lot and not much else.

This weekend it's painting two rooms - well it should have been one but Mrs Buffalo decided that she needed to move things around and that means repainting two rooms. One of which now ends up as my man cave so I am happy to go along with this - moan a little bit and eventually I get what I wanted and all is costs is a bit of manual labour...

    Thanks for the welcome!!

I can only hope that you like the AAR I am currently writing...ARASOI.

It's a slow burner, to say the least. I am hoping that does not deter people.

Welcome back Tig! esaciar- sometimes slower doses of quality are better.

I've been in the good position where I can spent a weekend putting together a project that I batch along with the writing- with organization of one final product being key, but that's not good for getting a lot of views or comments. It's only recently with the Black-Hearted Lords of Thrace that I've taken my time where a couple of hours each day will get an update together, even if it doesn't have much action or I have to write or direct the action myself and I've found at a slower pace taking it as I go, I get less planned substance, like the battles summaries that play out like a replay, and more attention to dialogue and the second person, which allows me to flesh out characters rather than a broader historical narration.

People tend to like your way of doing things better. It keeps them subscribed and you get more views of people who want to start reading and subscribing to the storyline and discussion, rather than relegate it as something that's already over and done with.

Ah I remember the days when I had the luxury of reading AARs. Those were simpler times.

Then someone came along and gave me a job in content. I've never had free time since

I have the easiest job ever in Content. Because the finishing touches to my first article were irretrievable ever since Kingdoms for Steam became DLC. It's over on the ES forums now as WIP. Hopefully I'll hear back from Stealthfox soon about my next move regarding it. This has given me plenty of free time to work on and read AARs.

Delegation is what you need f0ma. Delegate and speculate to accumulate and have time to celebrate.

Then no one ever did any of it and I had to do it all myself anyway

I'm looking to apply for more senior positions in RL. I'm a teacher, but I really want to become an Assistant Headteacher.

It basically means I'll be the link between staff and the Headteacher both ways in that link. Which means delegation is not an option...

I'm only kidding esa In my real life I coordinate a couple of student teams, both of which require me to liaise between staff and my peers and one of which requires me to actively delegate work.

In regards to the CQ there's never really much work to delegate (as opposed to in the WS for example, where there's a lot more going on). If m needs help with something he'll ask me, but it's honestly never something onerous or appropriate enough that I need to pass it down the chain. The rest of my workload just involves writing on subjects I've chosen and enjoy myself. Sometimes there will be an article or review we have to write and if no one volunteers then it might have to be delegated, but that's a surprisingly rare occurrence (it happened once in my time, if I remember right; over a year ago). Everything's just a lot more fluid and laid-back than that.
