Well all, later today I get on a flight that will, eventually (after about twenty seven hours in total, I do believe), get to Venice. After which I take a cruise ship for two weeks around the Mediterranean, and then return for a trip to Rome.
I get to, finally, go travelling to a few parts of Europe!
I'll be back around the fourth of September, so I wish you all well until then!

    Thanks

    Tigellinus

Safe travels, young Pakeha (), just keep your wallet close, remember not to drink the water except if bottled, and...most important of all...enjoy the sites, and make sure to tell us all about them! Until then, friend Tigellinus.

Tig, you better get us some good pics. And make sure they are from the perspective of a writer.

I hope to get back to my AAR soon, but need to get over the laziness.

I'm getting really frustrated that I can't make a proper world map
Ive tried so much things but it's just not what I want from it, starting to get really annoying.

I just needed to get that out

    Something like this, http://cdn3.freefantasymaps.org/wp-c...m-1024x819.jpg

But more half the size of that and a little more zoomed in.

I'm building such a huge world but I cant get a good map it's so frustrating !

Brew, perhaps that's the problem. You are trying to build the world and all its lore location from the outside. I am sure you'll find it easier to make them region by region and join it all up. Should make the map more detailed too.

Do we have someone with photoshop skills ? I got a map down actually :O! but it's relatively small drawn and ofc with a pencil.

    Linky for you guys, https://www.dropbox.com/s/7ktwb6tdel...Kaart.png?dl=0

Needs some mountain ranges, then I'll start dividing lands and put down cities etc.

For mountain ranges just load up Civ and see how it does it or look at the real world.

I always thought that in order to make a successful world you need to build up the lore, draw the map and readjust the lore based around what you drew.
Either way, don't focus on getting it perfect, whatever come out will be perfect and if its a medieval setting the map is supposed to look kind of crap (like the one in LotR) unless you want to give them satellite technology like Martin did with Asoiaf
