Damn! I completely forgot about the awards!

Need to go and sleep now, but when I awake tomorrow I will immediately get on to submitting my nominations!

    Thanks'

If people need time, the deadline for nominations can always be extended. This is something nice for the whole community, where we can all get together and have some fun

My main reason for not participating so far is my understanding is that the nominations are the vote themselves, and that could be incorrect. Wherein since I'm nominated in a couple of categories, I'd be stabbing myself in the foot, if that makes sense.

Oh, this is not the case, sorry if that's unclear. This is the nomination period, then after that we will have various poll threads where the people/stories/characters with the highest amount of nominations get voted upon. You may also vote differently to your nominations of course. I'm not 100% sure if we'll allow self-voting yet. Although this is replacing the old AAROTY, we'd like this to be a more fun, community kind of thing, rather than a dog-eat-dog competition.

Oh, in that case, I'll get right to it.

Indeed yeah, it is good to see a bit of diversity in the section.

Hmmm....I'm not too much of a sci fi fan to be honest, but I am glad that the CW section is once more active. Seriously you guys keep it alive due to all your hard efforts and work you know, still wish more fantasy/historical fiction stuff would also appear as well.

Say, would anyone like to check out the Hulksuru epic fantasy story I got? Just some comments here and there, I'll be reviewing other stories as well, so send a PM, I can provide indepth feedback. But I'll have it given one week after my exams are finished.

The next TotW is up, and is surprisingly, Sci-fi.

    Good day all!

Recently been playing RTW and RTW BI, and I've been wondering, what are the best mods for RTW BI?

For specifics, mods that enhance/drastically change the Western Roman Empire. I rather like the pitiful state it starts in, and wish to see if there are any mods that will take that even further and give me more options/units and the like.

    Thanks in advance

Arthurian TW: The Last Kingdom, Iberia Total War, Peninsula Italica. Those are some of my favorites. The Gathering Storm looked like it had a lot of potential. And of course IB 1 and 2 (A Medieval: Kingdoms port)

Hands down, it has to be SAI (Somnium Apostatae Iulianus - though I believe I've spelt it wrong!), if you want three campaigns, at least two where the WRE is in a pretty bad way, AND filled to the brim with historical accuracy/ancilliaries/custom portraits and more.

Then you've got Arthurian: Total War, Roma Surrectum II, Rome: Total Realism and...that's all I've got, for now.
