I don't know man, I've read some horrible, fecal matter drenched stuff in my time. There's no conceivable way a normal human such as you could produce anything that bad!

    Still, whatever works for you
Sauron's Miseries: My tale of heroism, glory and of utter failures that ruin the Dark Lord's plans:http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=542268
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Fail: A story of true friendship, a quest to destroy a dragon, and references all around! http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=584031
And see where it all began in: Three Jewels, One Valar. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=555203

    Let me provide an example:

My Little Pony fanfiction. But with the pony equivalent of Hitler. Yes, I wrote that when I was in both my MLP and twelve-year-old-internet-neo-nazi phase (thank god neither of those lasted for long...well, I take that back, MLP is still cool I guess).

    Need I explain more?

No, but in all seriousness, that embarrassment aside, I would have characters be mad for no reason other than to move the plot along. I would have battles out of nowhere with no sense of "why is this happening" because I hadn't thought ahead about the plot. I would have animosity where normal people with even basic socialization skills could agree to disagree. It was an absolute mess. I can be creative but I need to be structural with it.

In any case, to stop talking about myself for once in my life - what sort of stories do you folks like best? Sci-fi? Stereotypical fantasy? Thrillers? Horror?

    Quick Question!

How does one change/update their thread title?

Click edit post then press go advanced and then just above the main text box should be a smaller box with the title thread in it and then just edit away.

I've always just double-clicked next to the name of the thread when in the subforum.

^Yeah, that is a really quick and easy way.

If you are interested in worldbuilding there is a thread knocking around in the Lounge somewhere with a discussion on it: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?645423

I'd love to but sadly I'm too busy for it right now. But it would be interesting to read a co-op CW story especially with all the talent on here.

Are we allowed to reserve threads in the Creative Writing subforum? Or do we need the OP to be a piece of our work?

EDIT: Oh, and I wrote a submission for the new TOTW if anyone'd like to read it.

I can't see an issue with it, although the CW forum isn't going anywhere so I imagine most people just post a thread when they have some work to post - but if you want to offer an intro and stuff I'd say just go for it.
