It's been awfully quiet around here, how is everyone doing?
I'm so busy hardly got time to call with my wife let alone finish my grim reaper story

Busy busy busy. The last two assignments of the semester are due next Monday, then I finally have some time to relax. So many good stories on the go here at the moment, I can't wait to catch up with them. I should hopefully get a chance to resume writing properly as well.

Working. I work in retail, so, as you can imagine, Christmas is not my time of laughter and giving really. When I get a spare moment I'm catching up on my television programming, going through a few turns and writing few AAR updates. Today is one such day, and tis quite relaxing.
AAR of the Year 2013 anyone?

I'd like to test something with you all. How many of you watch Let's play videos? If yes, would it make sense to open a subforum for those? Or is it ok to have them in the main AAR subforums?
I must admit I don't really watch any of the Let's Play videos on this site its more the ones on Youtube such as HeirofCarthage which take up my time. On the topic of a new sub forum, I always thought of Let's Plays as slightly different to the other forms of AARs but honestly the Shogun 2 Let's Plays are the only thing really propping up the Shogun 2 AAR sub-forum.
Hey all. I'm thinking of restarting Swords of the Sea as a hotseat campaign. The AI has repeatedly proven itself to be a bit of a limp adversary so this could spine things up.
I could even run two AARs showing both sides of the conflict at the sane time?
Swords of the Sea: 1066 has come and gone, the Danelaw torn down and a new kingdom built in the image of its Norman rulers. But with time, wounds heal and what is broken can be reforged. The Danes have returned with steel, and seek to reclaim what is theirs.
The Great Expedition: Pax Anglia, one of Earth's great empires, sprawling across the stars. On their newly colonised planet of Nova Sydney, adventure awaits on the savage frontier - Henry Boyce steps forward to lead an expedition to pierce the Bushlands' wild heart.
Winter War: Finland, 1939. The Soviet war machine has begun its indomitable advance from the east. Of all its neighbours, only Finland stands alone in defiance. Conscript Anton Bezrukov prepares for a quick victory, but the reality is far bloodier...
ello, everyone! How are you guys doing? i have been diligently planning and working on my newest work.......I hope to post the prologue soon. I hope i can Focus more than i did with Of Blades and Bows. Look forward to my next work the Legacy of the Bloodlines.

I think it's okay to have them in the main AAR forum, I mean without them the Rome II AAR forum would be even deader.
Personally I don't watch LP videos so I'm not sure how much of them are going around in the AAR forums but if it gets to the stage where the first page is filled with LP vids (especially M2TW/RTW AAR forums) then it's probably best to make a forum for them, but at the minute they are helping to add to the Shogun 2/Rome 2 activity so moving them doesn't seem like a good idea because it is effectively a trade for one busyish forum to a sort of busy forum and a dead forum.

About LPs, just as a general question, do you guys think that LP posters should be allowed to post their vids/link to vids in a AAR forum to get (potentially) extra YouTube videos/subscribes etc.?
