Traditional Japanese Music
Shogun II seems like the best out-of-the-box tw so far hey? the battle mechanics remind me of RSII or RTR now, nothing seems too broken - nice!
Well before I say anything, kudos to CA for seeking out the physical instruments and recording/mixing those into what you hear on Shogun II. Good sound engineering etc,

This is 1 hour 52 minutes of similar music: http://www.filefactory.com/file/ca5e582/n/Bushido.mp3
The sources were mostly from lifting audio off taiko/kodo/koto videos and then re-mastering it.
The 180mb file contains most everything the net could offer on traditional Japanese music without repeating itself. Some very low quality sources didn't make it in, no western instrumentation or modern influences were allowed in, except briefly at 1h:19m, and a few of the kodo teams are from abroad. Respect to all the musicians involved though.
You can run this mp3 as background music to S2TW, or it can be cut up into pieces and modded in with the vanilla music or whatever, if you know how to do that. Unfortunately my understanding of modding TW is as old as descr_sounds_music.txt, pretty sure they changed that all out with Empire.
