Can I add music without replacing original tracks?

I've just had a look though Brig's music pack and the original sound.pack. I noticed Brig's had to use the same names as in the original pack. I was wondering if it's possible to actually add music without having to replace the originals?

Well , i dont have a tutorial but if u extract this file , maybe u can adjust your music in game without change the real name of the song.
And remember copy your files before mod
