    Default help with widescreen

    hello... sorry to bother... I cant seem to get my LotRTW widescreen... I just choose widescreen and make click highest resolution on both battle and strategic map( dont remember)
    and apply changes but it doesnt make it widescreen... it just makes it a little bigger.... can anyone help me?

    go to alexander/lotrtw/preferences...open preferences.txt and try to change USE_WIDESCREEN:FALSE to USE_WIDESCREEN:TRUE

    if its not on widescreen does that cause the black bars on the side to appear??? having it like windowed in?

    its not windowed.
    its just not on widescreen... cant get it to go widescreen... and I can do it in all total war games
