What's with this? Knocked off trade node?!?

This has happened to me now in 2 campaigns.

I have a nice Shimazu campaign going on Hard setting. It's the spring of 1565, and I have all of Kyushu, and the 2 westernmost provinces on the main island. Building everything up nicely. I've got 5 trade ships on all 3 western nodes, the one in the south protected by 4 medium bunes. All of a sudden those 9 ships on the southern node are bounced off of it by ONE Yamano trade ship. He just comes to it and displaces the entire fleet!?!! Of course I can't take it back without going to war with them, which I'd prefer not to do at this point.

Has this happened to anyone else? Am I missing something?

Can't you just go to another trade node?

In M2 you could knock a merchant off of a resource by pointing to the resource while it is under the fog of war. Your merchant would move to it and displace anyone already on it. Maybe the same thing happened to you, so try it on the Yamano fleet.

Yeah ive gotten knocked of trade nodes before too, I noticed it when I owned all the nodes. Its might be some feature to prevent a monopoly of the nodes... But more likely than not its just another bug...

For no apparent reason you can be knocked of a trade node. I even had a message that I lost the trade. This happened to me without an enemy fleet nearby. This has to be a bug.

its a bug, you get knocked off and u cant move the fleet back on or anywhere for that matter. Has happened to both my campaigns, and almost made me go bankrupt on my hard campaign. Same bug was in Empire.

Happened to me , i just saved and reloaded, and could move my fleet back onto the trade node.

yea thats good if u catch it. But usually my focus is else where.
