Agents Trapped in Vassal Clans

I had an army that had a ninja and a monk supporting them. The monk and ninja gave bonuses, but when I conquered the enemy, I turned them into a vassal. My army was out of the settlement, but the two agents are stuck in the vassals settlement. No matter how many turns after, the agents still cannot do anything. They appear on the agents tab and even one of them was almost assassinated. Has anyone else found this?

I had this issue before. You can make sure you remove the agents before battle in the future and it will prevent this.

For your CURRENT issue, once their army leaves the city you can select your agent and move them out. For some reason the agent simply cannot move while a garrison is inside.

Wait until the vassal moves all his troops out of the province, and it is empty. Then you can move your agent again. I had the same issue, with monk

Had the same issue with my ninja, for couple of turn he ranked up.... felt ironic.
