England is playing Sri Lanka in cricket today - World Cup quarter finals. It's not looking too good so far, but England has won low-scoring matches in this world cup...

Edit2: 229/6 scored... a competitive total, though more would have been nice.

I scored my maiden 50 today

Sure, it was a Sunday match, so the opposition was not so good, but on the other hand, we were about 95/7 when I came in. I managed to break my bat in an innings of 55, with 10 fours

Unfortunately, we lost in the end, though

Quite unrewarding

I bowled 8 overs for 32, with probably about half of those coming from edges through the slips. Actually, edges are a legitimate scoring shot off me - it has been several years since I had someone caught there, despite no lack of edges...

We also played a 6-a-side tournament on Monday, which we won

The opposition was clearly not as good as us (most of them were many leagues below us), and 42 runs from 2 overs by our overseas pro sealed the win in the final!
