    Default V.3.05 PATCH -Unit Variety Mod + Light Edition



    Your unit detail setting must be on ultra for this mod to work properly!


    V 3.05

    -Fixed crests, ui cards, torso's and horses
    -Added light version
    -Reduced Gloss

    V 3.00 is here

    -No more No Hands Bug
    -3.8 million unique samurai conbinations possible.
    -Factional Ashigaru for majors.
    -Removed most horrible Ikko Monk Robes.
    -Removed Bear foot Ashigaru because that just looked Painful.
    -Made different Cavalry types more distinct.

    Older Changes
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Fixed roads and borders
    Corrected pack name.

    V2.00
    -More unit variety accross more units (including Monks )
    -New textures
    -Renormal mapped Horses
    -New Cannon barrel Texture
    -Reduced gloss in some places
    -Loan Sword Ashigaru Fixed
    -Lots of stuff that took ages .
    -Yes i know the packs still called v1.pack, whatever.

    Anyway its easiest to see what it does with pictures so here are some (thanks to LuckyLewis) for these.

    Installation
    Extract the .rar to your data folder (usualy C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\total war shogun 2\data).

    There is no need to edit your user.script.

    If using the hotpatch extract v3.05 hotpatch to data and have the original v3.00 pack there as well.

    Recomended 3rd Party mods
    Demokritus' Alternate Clan Colours
    Compatible with all 'overhauls' so far , if using DM make sure The clan retexture project is not Activated!

    Incompatibility
    Should be compatible with most mods that do not edit atlas files.

    Known non working mods.
    -Toons 24/32 bit textures (edits same atlas'). No crashes, just this overwrites it.
    -lesser gloss mod , somthing similar incorperated
    -Kisho Ninja variant mod (same atlas, sorry)
    -Clan Retexture Project

    -If you find a bug please Take a screenshot and post it in this thread so i can deal with it.

    Well the horos took the whole of thirty seconds this took the whole of several hours so slightly different .

    will this conflict with either the realm divide mod by yarkis or the slower speed/slower reload by yarkis/zowrath respectively?

    is your horo mod included or can I use that in conjunction with this?

    No to conflicts (except with other atlas changing mods e.g. toons (only other for now)).

    yes you can use the horo mod with this.

    You have changed the textures. So have i thus they are imcompatible.

    How about the less glossy look mod? Great mod whatever the answer though

    EDIT: it does

    Also noticed this only works with the ULTRA unit details setting, for me anyway.

    Got some laughs out of the ashigaru wearing dressing gowns with no trousers
