I have a little problem: I can't start the game. After launching I'm able to see the loading-screen for a few seconds - than ctd.
No beta installed. I already tried to reinstalled the mod - same problem.
Would be glad for some help. THX

Please ensure that you install both parts of the mod into the correct folders, there are instructions for this on installation.
If you use Vista or 7 you may need to turn off your UAC in order to install correctly.

I have the same problem. It CTD after loading screen.
I have already reinstaled but i still can't play.
Any ideas? I'm using Windows 7 BTW
Take a look at the spoiler pics above, if your install does not look like that, you installed part 2 incorrectly. That could be down to UAC etc.
I redownloaded the files and it works now...
Oh and good job, i'm really enjoying the mod
I would like to play this new fantasy mod, but is it completely mod-foldered?
I'm asking because my policy is to install only mods which don't interfere with the vanilla game.
Also, should we have more detailed instructions for the install process, or is it easy enough?
If you got steam, you need to create the Akthross folder first into the mods folder as with steam, it does not create an Akthross folder. (In my experience anyway) Then when installing part 2, you need to redirect it to the steam's med 2 folder, mod, Akthross/data. An excellent way of opening mods for Kingdoms is by downloading the Kingdoms Launcher App found here

happened to me too, I installed it part two in the wrong space (program files instead of program files (x86)) so yeah follow Eothese's advice.
when i installed, the 2nd picture of your folder looks like yours but on my 1st pic of the folder all I have is data display fix and prefrences. Also when I start the game starts to run I get a black box showing the launcher command then a minute or 2 later the medieval 2 launcher picture shows up and then i get a ctd. Im running Windows 7 but ive never had problems witht he other mods i use (SS TATW and Thera)

Make sure you turn off your UAC. That is the most important thing to do.
and where is that?

Check the "Help" tool found on your computer. It should lead you right to it.
Type "How to turn of User Account Control"
it came up with how to turn the printer off...

1) Try deleting your VirtualStore (you have to have hidden files visible to see it)
2) Try restarting your computer after you delete your VirtualStore. After that, make sure it didn't come back.
Also, did you make sure you have Kingdoms 1.5/1.05?
I have the latest version of kingdoms but what is virtual store and where would it be i opened my start menu and typed it in but nothing came up and how do you make hidden files viewable
just turned on show hidden files and other stuff still cant find virtual store however
Also ive found a "custom" folder but its in the data/world/maps folder
