Lower Upkeep Costs for Units

Hi guys! I remember playing the original Shogun for hours on end and just loving the epic battles I would have with the A.I. I'm near the end-game in Shogun 2 on hard mode. I have just about all the economic technologies researched, not to mention I have the continent conquered. Ironically, even with all the provinces under my control and most of the trade ports, I can only have about 3 full blown armies. Anymore, and I start going bankrupt. Can any modders venture into reducing upkeep costs so that we can see multiple large armies vying over a single province or just battles that last longer in general with 2x the size of regular armies for reinforcements?
